During the early part of my banking career, I remember a day when the bright, vivid images of a Pinterest perfect peach cobbler caught my attention. It was an effective advertisement that soon had me drooling over the gooey deliciousness of such a luscious dessert.
As silly as this sounds, the sweet, carb laden treat seemed unattainable in the moment.
Drained of energy, and surrounded by the demands of a busy day, I wanted nothing more than to prop my feet up with a warm dessert fresh out of the oven.
It’s a simple thing, and something I’m a little embarrassed about now, but reflecting on the event made me consider how easy it is to overcomplicate life – whether it’s the big or little things that come our way.
In my recent YouTube video, I’m sharing a peek into this story, along with perspective on our willingness to embrace small and simple steps toward overcoming the impossible moments.
